Ok folks this one is a tomato that was bred by our very own Keith Mueller, like all of his stuff, this one excels in looks and taste, Purple Haze is more of a saladette size tomato. This was a cross between Black Cherry, Brandywine and Cherokee Purple in a successful attempt to improve the flavor of Black Cherry. Last year I bought plants from Darrel Jones {Selectedplants.com} And worth every penny!! These were about the best cherry/saladette I have tasted in a long time. The sugar to acid is very balanced and has a very addictive taste. They cost a little more than Dars other stuff, but well worth the extra money. If you like Black Cherry, this one is just that much better, so what are you waiting for? Give Darrel a call and order yours now! He has limited stock, so order NOW to get yours.

Who would want to grow Yellow Pear if they can have Sweet Beverley? I probably will, because I have seeds for both (and Red Pear, but not Yellow Submarine).

You mean Purple Haze F1 as you bred it? Why yes! I also hope, Darth gave you some good stuff of Kozula's, that you can use.

Yellow Submarine is also OK. I thought of buying it from Gleckler for next season, and as a PL it lends itself to crossing (if you can emasculate a cherry, that is).

Apparently there is another Purple Haze F1 around, but I bought plain "old" Cosmic Purple from Baker Creek for purple carrots:
