I could only find one person selling six pound giant and they must be smoking something cause it was listed for almost $13 bucks plus shipping for 10 seeds LOL. Which brings up an ideal someone should breed a skull shaped tomato and call it Crack Head Tomato ROFL

Aren't all tomatoes that size the result of a megabloom?

Darth, excuse my ignorance, but that's what I thought. At our Indiana State Fair last year winning entries still hovered around the 3-pound range. Growers I know that are trying to beat the World Record are breeding tomatoes with megablooms in order reach that goal. Darth, in another area, I seem to be looking in the wrong place for your blue Voyage tomato. I enjoy what is happening with tomato breeding! : )

6 pound Giant is an actual cultivar, The Tomato Show is in Tomato Discussion click on Tomato Discussion, right on those words, then you will be able to select from the numerous threads that are in there, to change pages you will have to change the number in the upper left hand corner manually, as for the joking, the other guys know better. It wasn't directed soley at you.

I hope it is an individual cultivar. It looks just like the "Delicious" that I've been growing the past two years. I was wondering if someone just changed the name to boost sales. Anyway, I saw Organica Seeds listing 6-pount tomato, 10 seeds for $12.50 and 20 seeds for $20.50. I agree that it is a little steep considering there is so little verifiable information on it (From my perspective.).

I wouldn't. You can grow a few "Delicious", look for a megabloom, keep only the megabloom fruit...and make it happy till you're ready to pick it!

Not worried about the mega bloom thing, I have tomatoes that get huge, I just wanted this for my collection.
