Ask those people if they are basing their opinion on knowledge. Also, they may have never heard of miesner.

Darth...here's what doc said
So most (at TV) that are posting think that the tomatoes at that site are just renamed...a bit of that going on. I'm hoping to "rename" one 3 pounder or 4 pounder.... ;D

So, are you guys saying that it is Marvin Meissner who is selling the seeds for what he's calling "Six Pound Monster?" If so, why not be clear about it? If not, exactly who is selling those seeds? Where is a picture of a 6-lb. tomato grown from those seeds in past years? Are you just buying those seeds on faith?

Im taking alot of Heat in T-ville about these....some folks think its a gimmick, but they dont have to spend my money, I can do that myself just fine! ;D I have to agree that this tomato is probably hype. What I don't agree with is why those people on the other forum are such Muleholes towards you about this subject. It's interesting how a select few think they can say whatever they want to whoever they want. How you treat people really does matter in the world. Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. One of these days someone with a little extra cash is going to introduce a few of the royals to a little legal dilemma called "LIBEL". On another note, I don't see a problem with paying a buck for one seed. I can think of a dozen varieties that if I had to I would gladly pay a dollar a seed for them. I heard that there is some kind of Yankee beer that costs way more than that.
