I put my garlic in last Oct-Nov. I just put it along the edges of my garden in the winter to try to keep pests away. I put some shallots in the ground around mid-January. Everything seems to be growing well. Winter is usually nice to my garlic and onions. They are a pretty easy crop for the South- IMO. I got my stock from a local farm and from a local grocery store. I really don't know what kind they are but I know that they are all from this region- so I hope to find some good things when the stalks dry out later this spring/early this summer.

It all looks great Boys! Bammer, the Rosewood does look stout! How large are the garlic heads?
