Hey Soren, do you have seedlings yet? If so let's see 'em! I have not sown them yet. I was planning to sow some this week but I am not sure I will, as I want to spend the greenhouse space on some more Wherokowhai F5 plants (T'ville Dwarf Project).

Anyone have extra seeds for trade??? I am growing Nagcarlang and am impressed at the vigor of the seedlings. Perhaps varieties from the Philippines are especially vigorous due to the adverse conditions? PM me for trade list. I have some interesting stuff (I think). Growing out a Hillbilly Potato Leaf x Large Red Cherry Cross, some commercial varieties, some classic heirlooms, etc. Would also be perfectly willing to buy seeds as well.

Hi everyone, I'm from Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. Does anyone knows a strong variety against rains? Would appreciate any advice for a local/native breed and where to get the seeds.

Hi,
Kamatis Tagalog is actually one of the original tomatoes that the Spaniards brought to the Philippines, the size and shape ranges from similar to Costoluto Fiorentino to Zapotec Pleated, however the colour is yellowish streaked with orangey red but does not turn completely red.
Kamatis na Ligaw is totally different as it is a cherry tomato with somewhat oblongish shape.
There is another tomato called Kamatis na Intsik which is a Roma type tomato.
To flyinggardener, I have several tomatoes (dwarf type) that are very strong against wind and rains, it has a trunk about two inches thick but doe not grow tall. PMsg me if you want some as my plants are fruiting heavily at the moment.
