I have this field next door, that has one horse dropping fertilizer in a few prime locations. I have a large wheelbarrow to gather this brown gold with, but it starts getting old after about the third load, so I decided I needed a trailer for my mowing tractor. One two foot piece of pipe tied to the handle of a freight dolly: Add the metal body liner from an old refrigerator: Voila, one small trailer to collect end product of horse It holds about the same amount as my wheelbarrow, but it's a lot easier on my body.

How good is that, so simple but yet so practical

I've used the same approach for hauling firewood out of tight spots. Pull it out by hand where the tractor can't go and then hook on to it with the tractor and haul it the rest of the way out of the woods.
