T and I were talking in PM's and we both have this problem of more seeds than garden space and I'm willing to bet that's the case with a bunch of others too? My question is, why do we all do that, greed, stupidity, just gotta have it or what?

I blame all these cotton pickin tomato forums and all the cotton pickin great tomato growers for reporting on their cotton pickin great tasting tomatoes!! Those dastardly evil doer folks know dang well I am as weak willed as a kid in a candy store with his full weekly allowance! ;D I'd rant more, but I've got to go and finish a trade with Richard for my latest tomato candy! I don't have that problem. In fact, I have a few spots open that still have not yet received seed for! Hint, hint

I'm with Timothy on this. I grew up with San Marzano and Uncle Charlie's being pretty much the only tomatoes we ever grew. I didn't even start growing cherries until after University and it was Yellow Pear that I grew first because I found it easily at the nursery. It was Charlie who started all of the plants for the family, so I didn't even start my plants from seed until much later. I guess like so many other things, the internet has its good and bad points. Gardeners are also generous by nature, most of them anyway and as I look through my collection, it's apparent that most of it comes from all of you. The world keeps getting smaller with traders like Andrey and just like Johnny Appleseed, a lot of those Russian and Belarusian and Polish varieties are now grown in gardens all over the planet. That's a pretty cool legacy!

Woooo...I knew I had a problem then! Now Im doing Toms, and I think it has taken over my life. Ive tried to quit, but only fell flat on my Flats! But I only social seed ya know? Until I found a way to seed year round, that greenhouse is like a Lab in a way. Thank God I found this support group, to help with my problems!

You're all on the right path.
The first step is to admit you have a problem.
The second step is to send me all your surplus seeds.
Be honest and forthcoming now.
