First pictures of the variety Wow. Hopefully nobody decides to declare this one as a PL plant. ;D Has anyone actually tried the fruit from this yet? I'm still waiting.

Looks healthy. What is it, an OP cross of Brandywine and Sungold, I think I read somewhere? Let us know how it tastes when you get tomatoes.

I can't wait to hear the report on WOW!
I ordered seeds when Fedco first offered it, but got left out....the excuse was poor germination....nothing could have poorer germination than the seeds I never got!!! LOL
And so it goes!!!

I will have bagged seeds to offer for next season. The plant is doing well and setting fruit.

Is it me or is that plant extra leggy? What does the fruit look like?

Plant was leggy to begin with. Has filled out by now and is producing well. Fruit are a dull orange color. Not as deep as Sungold and not nearly as good flavor-wise. Same crack-prone tendency as well. I wont grow it again.

I too had a lot of split fruit. It is remarkable to see that the breeder has stabilized the tropical fruit flavor in an op cherry. That said, it is not as tangy or as sweet as sungold, but still a unique and tasty tomato, imo. One down side I've experienced is poor shelf life.

So what happened with the WOW! tomatoes? I grew them a couple years (summer '11 & '12). In 2011 they cracked like crazy and had many expressions. Different seed source/more attention in 2012 resulted in better quality and production. Unfortunately it ended up neglecting to save any seed (duh). I haven't seen any seed being offered for WOW! this year or last. Has anyone else seen it offered? Does anyone else have experiences growing WOW!?
I liked it and want to play with it some more...
