I was slicing maters for BLTs last night and accidentally didn't cut all the way through the skin and ended up with a butterflied one. I loved it and sliced the next one that way and it was awesome. Fits on a sandwich so nicely. Note the big rainbow slices.

Those bicolored tomatoes are beautiful! What variety are they and how do they handle a Minnesota summer. Our weather is probably pretty similar. I grew a bicolor called Northern Lights this year but I haven't made my mind up on it yet. I'm giving one more year to perform.

Use your own saved seed from this year when you grow it again = you may well get better performance.
