Nice!
I tried growing some onion from seed last year, but they did not get very big. Perhaps they needed to go through another season as bulbs. They made tasty green onions, anyway. Kind of a mess going through the little things and setting them in rows. Have no idea how they do it commercially.
Just an idea for an exotic: In Southern Appalachia there grows a wild leek that the locals call a "Ramp." It has thick 3-part leaves, and a very interesting mild garlic taste. Good eating while hiking the AT in spring. I have never seen them in stores. In the East TN mountains, they are commonly known. But here in West TN, I do not know ANYONE who has ever heard of them. They seem to grow before the leaves fill out on the forest floor. Unsure if they are suitable for home gardens.

I am in confusion like how do you to get the seed of onion. I think onion grow in the particular favorable season. Well, the spicy mixture of onion and tomatoes is my favorite with lots of other ingredients as well.
