I have tomato plants that are doing beautifully and many containers with varieties of flowers. I use a rain barrel for watering and I mix fertilizer formulated for tomatos with the rain water. However, I also need to water and fertilize my flowers and use a super bloom formula to water the flowers.. My question is does any one know for certain, how my tomato plants will respond if I use the superbloom fertilizer on the tomatos? Will it be harmful or will the tomatos just use what they can and ignore the rest? The formula I use on tomatos is not sufficient for the flowers but am wondering about the results of using the superbloom formula on the tomatos? Thanks for any help or suggestions, Jerry D.

Jerry what are the numbers. I use a feed with a high P number many times. I feel it creates a good root system along with creating more blooms. I've use formula's with P numbers in the high 40's. So unless it has something else added I feel you should be ok. I'm using liquid organic fertilizers now. That way I can change the formula by how I mix it. Jay

Jay - any specific brands for the high P? Haven't looked for this year, but would appreciate knowing something better for 2013. Thanks.
