So far, this one has had the best taste. It was more complex than some of the others. Others gave it a "9". I gave it a "7". Do you think you are getting any flavor complexity from the S. pimpinellfolium line?

It's pretty safe to assume that there are multiple genes involved in isolating the fruity and sweet and complex flavors you are seeking. Are there any combinations of traits that just dont appear to be possible to isolate in an open pollinated variety? And are there intermediate or blended flavors that express when a dominant and recessive gene are combined, that wont exist if with either a pair of dominant or recessive genes?
