Ciao all-
I come across Grightmire's Pride a lot in various Canadian seed catalogues. I just discovered William Dam Seeds at this year's Seedy Saturday, but I know I've seen that variety in several other places. I'll keep my eye out for it next season and bluelacedredhead, if you're interested, I'll get some seeds out to you to try as well.

Thanks Sorellina, I appreciate your offer, but I've had an Account with Wm Dam Seeds since 1988 or 89?? and I haven't ordered Grightmire's Pride yet, so I guess I don't really need it, lol I would think that the other companies have picked the variety up in recent years as Canadian content.

you never know where those polish tomatoes might turn up? eh gunnar? smiles..... I think the seeds that I sent to you are pretty safe, as are those that Spudleafwillie has. Of course it's interesting to see what happens to Grightmire's Pride, but Kozula probably doesn't have them any more. The only thing that can happen, is that someone grows the seeds out in the "wrong" place, but I'm cool with that.

All the Grightmire X's Live in Texas? This is a first for me, but if I get promising PLs from the cross with Grightmire's I may distribute them, and not only to rnp.

The Grightmire's that Kozula used for distribution and crosses were probably regular leaved just as Tatiana's as confirmed by one of the Polish growers. So I don't expect any potato leaved tomatoes among the F2s.

Too bad Gunnar, but you can always hope I don't think there is much to do about the Grightmire's. But I can try to get hold of some of the crosses made with Black Pear or Japanese Black Trifele.

Kozula sent me seeds for some Black Pear crosses, so I'll grow them out and be looking for potato-leaved F2s or F3s.

It seems that another of my Polish pinks is potato-leaved as well, namely Malinowy Warszawski, an indeterminate from Plantico. I will be able to tell it (and how it compares to Malinowy Ozarowski) more definitely later in the season. Malinowy Warszawski seems to be RL after all, although the "different" regional "Malinowy"'s are very similar.

Gunnar, did you grow any of Kozulas crosses to hearts? I noticed they weren't offered. Also.erhaps you could have her produce more of the green when ripe stuff, as that was the one everyone wanted, and of course the dark colored one with the stripes.
