Stratcat, I'm growing Triple Play Corn this year!! Thanks for posting that! I'm really excited because someone sent me an entire pack of seed so I should have a nice big block of it. You seem to like the unusual stuff, too. I also grow Capujiners Blue-podded Peas. Wildthyme turned me onto those a few years ago and I just love them. They're not the tenderest of peas, but I love to grow a few here and there in my pea bed for colour and also to save the pods so I can grow them again. I have no idea how easy peas are to cross so I just save them for my own use. Those flowers are fragrant AND edible too. Sorellina, YW for the Triple Play pic I posted. I usually grow eight stalks in a pattern I got from Buffalo Bird Woman's Garden. That's all the tomatoes will allow. I'd say we're on the same page. I grew Blauwschokkers Peas a few times in the mid-2000's and multiplied seeds. I think they're the same as Capujiners Blue-podded Peas. Mostly grew them for looks. By their taste, I'd say they are suited for soups, stews and fodder as I had read. I didn't know the flowers were fragrant and edible. Cool! Maybe I'll plant a little patch this year. I've read crossing in peas is very minimal. Happy gardening!

Ozarklady, don't worry about the weeds. In a few short years, if you let them, your egyptian onions will spread like weeds themselves

These here are Rosa Biancas that I grow: Now see, I thought that the Rosa Bianca would be a larger eggplant. I'm the only one in this household to eat eggplant which is why I usually raise small varieties like Applegreen or Diamond. But I like the milder taste of the white varieties. Is Rosa Bianca mild?

Blane, what variety of Brussel sprouts did you grow? I have one from England that I'm attempting to grow here. Doesn't seem to be as happy here as the ones bred for NYS of course. Great pics all, btw.

I started the Egyptian onion bed with only a few little bulbs, and have replanted every one that grew, and it is getting fuller all the time. In this photo you will see a miniature banana pepper plant, notice it is barely taller than the garden timbers? Well it was loaded all season, just like this, and so were all the others that I planted of this one. Did anyone else experience, tiny productive banana peppers?

Yes, I'd say that it is mild. And I'm not a bitter EG type of person either. Regarding the size, I usually pick them about this size but I suppose that you could let them grow a bit more. I've just never tried.

TY. I'll give them a try then in 2011. I already have an excess of eggplants germinating. Well, unless I happen across a plant at the Farmers Market? One little Rosa Bianca wouldn't hurt would it?
