Amish Neck Pumpkin I grew in 2008. The only one that survived frost because I covered it over with a blankie for several nights. Never matured enough for seed though. I grew it up the chainlink of an old dog kennel. I was told that growing them vertically keeps them straight. Obviously that works, although why anyone would want a crookneck pumpkin to grow straight is beyond me, lol So I'm growing them again this year from two sources. One from an Amish community in Missouri and another from Agway seeds found on a rack in NY state. If I have crop failure this year (like last) I'm out of the neck pumpkin biz.

Co-Joined Delicata. Maybe there is some truth to the rumour that living under hydro towers causes genetic mutation? Those are Jack-o-Lantern pumpkins behind them in case anyone wonders the variety.

I wondered how long it would take for someone to make a comment about that. It um got bruised by the kennel gate. That just seemed to add to the suggestiveness of the squash.

Ciao BLR-
I'm incredibly way amazed at how tall your corn is already. When did you plant it? Mine's about 3 ft tall now.

Sorellina, These pics are from 2006, 2007, 2008. We sold the farm in 2008. We are in suburbia now and starting over. No room for corn here, sadly. I had to buy a new camera recently. I took pics of this years garden, but I'm having difficulty figuring out exactly how to get those pics on websites from the stupid camera manufacturer software website?? Why can't they all be the same process?? Nope, take that back. I hated the Fuji camera...Why can't all cameras be like Olympus with OUT the pricetag, lol
