Please share your photos of cool season crops and seeds saving tips from these. I understand not everybody can grow all year long, without a greenhouse, so as the summer ends...heres what Ive got started so far.

OK....In the previous pic, Some Brocs on the corners, and in the middle is Purple Mustard. I want to express on how Good this variety tastes compaired to regular mustards, and Ive grown quite a few. Southern Curled Giant.....nope..... Georgia Special....ant-uh....
This Type is much sweeter, and better looking....IMO..... Many seed companys offer this, but under different names.

Keep in mind......and those that know me, That Chicken Tractor in the background, is just 4 feet away. Biggest Fall, Upright Squash Plant Ive ever done.... (for now)..... Ive picked 2 from this so far.....8 inchers...On the grill, they were Great!

Here we can have the first autumn frost any day, and hard freeze may start in November. so the squash/pumpkin growing season is basically over. We have to pick frost hardy/tolerant veggies for a late crop. Pretty squash plant, btw.

Blane, I tried to put some Purple Mustard and a mix of greens, but the bugs wiped them out as tiny tender seedlings.
Next year I hope that the ecosystem in my garden is a little less one sided, lol
