Blane, you can either hotlink to an av you have hosted somewhere of you can use one of the generic avatars the forum software provides. You cannot upload one from your machine. Click profile at the top of the page > modify profile and paste the URL of your picture in the 'avatar url' spot and type in the dimensions of the photo (eg. 100x100pix). John

Hot link? Is that anything like a spicy Vienna sausage? How does one do that hosty hot linky thing? I've always wanted an animated avatar. Is it possible to use ones own video footage?

All I've got to say is--If that woman in DLD's avatar ever breaks out of her picture and runs me over I'm going to sue! T

Yeah, i was trying last night to get that link to work spaceage and I couldn't either. My guess is that the blog site does not allow hot-linking to its hosted files.

I don't quite understand what the problem is Space. There seems to be problems with the whole avatar system. I will try to check into it.

Okay, so I've resized it on Photobucket to 100 x75 pixels. Copy & Paste into the URL box then 100 for width, 75 for length, Modify Profile, and Voila, as you can see, I see Nothing?? I can post it within the post but not as an Avatar..........GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Well, I got one to work. That's all that matters for now.
