Anyone familiar with this game system. We finally broke down and got my son one and I was wondering where the best place to get games for it is. Thanks.

We just dropped $75 for the Wayne Gretzky NHL Game for my Grandson for Christmas. I checked all the major sources in our area for this game, and there was no significant difference between merchants online or off. But that's because it's brand new so they know they got you if you want it Then I receive an email from a retail "Points" program I belong to. Guess what? I almost had enough points to get the game for FREE...Go figure... JT, I can't really help you with merchants because we have different department stores here than the U.S. However, I just wanted to point out that sometimes you find the answer to questions like this one in the strangest places...

Target, Walmart, and Best Buy usually have the best selection of games. Make sure to get Mario Kart and another controller so you can race your son.

Game Stop is another good place, I use them mainly. Talking to a gaming geek is a must sometimes... You wont find that at wally world...lol.... As for the Wii.....I had to get rid of mine, and get an Xbox 360 instead.....why? Because the Wii doesnt have any of the Grand Theft Auto games... GTAs are a must have for any gamer! Violent or not! GL with yours Jt.

There's some company that's the gamers equivalent of Netflix, I never paid attention to the name, but you pay a monthly fee and keep games as long as you like. That way you can try them out, or 86 'em once you're tired or 'em. Is it called Gameflight, maybe?

Gamefly is the way to go, cheaper in the long run. Some games will lose their play value fast, others last, best not to find out after buying it.
Blane, real gamers have both systems.

Oh, you kids these days! One neat thing these days is some or all major game systems can be use with DSL wireless networks to get practically endless movies from Netflix, downloaded on demand at HD or near HD quality as a bonus to membership to even their $10 offer. Susan bought a blueray system for just this reason, as she cares nothing about gaming...it's incredible to download virtually any movie you want, when you want, start and stop just like disc, etc.....no I don't have stock in Netflix but you can send me money anyway. ;D

The son has the xbox360 and the Wii. So he must be a real gamer? He is not allowed GTA at all!!
He gets the majority of his games from Gamestop.
