Flower,
My wife loves bicolor tomatoes. She used to like most all tomatoes until they became my obsession. Now she hates them, but still will eat bicolors because she loves them so much.
She liked Oaxacan Jewel, which was great for me in 2008, but I had bad foliar probs with it this year.
She liked Willard Wynn in 2009, but I didn't regrow it this year. I like that one too. It's late but productive and solid, very sweet, and has a nice fruity flavor.
I had huge disease and low fruit set problems with Hillbilly Potato Leaf; but have never grown straight out Hillbilly or "Flame" so cannot comment on them.

And I should have added Lucky Cross to my list above. I just plain forgot about it. Blasphemy! ;D

Hmm, I have seed for the Oaxacan Jewel too. OK I have 3 I can try next yr. Lucky Cross is just too late for my area. Never got one fruit in 3 yrs. Although my county is zone 5a, my town is 4b. This is what the college says. We have our own little micro-climate here on the mountain.

I grew "Hillbilly" from seeds purchased from Sand Hill. Only 17 fruits but they were very good sized, the largest was 23 ounces and the average was about 14 ounces. Hillbilly ripened quite late. The flavor was very good compared to many of the other bi-colors I have grown. I have grown Big Rainbow, Lucky Cross, Orange Russian #117 and a couple others I don't remember right now. OR117 in the right year tastes better than Hillbilly, but so far for flavor I am not especially impressed with most bi-colors.

That ain't no "Flame" tomato. Guaranteed 100% Hill Billy (RL) Family Stock. ;D In the 4 years I have been re-growing hill billy family stock, (which wasn't much seed, 8 at the most to start) no one has ever squeaked about a bland taste or being "off" one season or the next. -blah
