one of my favorite meals to fix for a group is ...Chicken pot pie. Easiest to fix.
recipe as follows. I use chicken breasts of some sort. with or without bones. Boil the chicken. Reserve a cup of the water Put cut up chicken peices in 9 x13 pan. Drain 2 lg. cans veg-all. (save liquid) spread on top of chicken. Next 2cans of cream of chicken mixed with 1 cup of the reserved chicken water. spread on top of the veggies. sprinkly garlic on top of the soup mixture. Topping: mix 1 cup self rising flour (or bisquick) with 1 stick of melted butter or margine, 1 cup of reserved juice from the veg-all, ~2 tsp.poultry seasoning, ~2 teaspoons rosemary(ground is what I have) . Spread the topping on top. Bake at 350* for 1 hour.
Everyone has always loved it. Not too expensive to fix for a crowd.

How about some good old southern BBQ, I think the yankees would love it, I know I would. Gona jam with Darth, and need to feed this traveling clan something, any ideas are welcomed.

Just spoke with Darth. They are still about 100 miles north of Spuds on I-25. He said apparently he misread a road sign when he told JayTee earlier they were only 30 miles out.

Ok guys, you have no excuse not to pull over for a few minutes and let me buy you a cup of coffee, or dinner, or something when you get to exit 127 on I-40 in Arkansas. ...This might be the best story in the internet right now...
