This weeks pick, Is Casey's Pure Yellow, I like this one just because of the name...no calling an orange tomato "GOLD" Or an orange tomato yellow. This one is YELLOW. It was discovered in a patch of Green Giants by Jeff Casey. This is my first year for growing this one. Tatianas description says it can get to 2lbs. And is potato leaf. I hope this one taste as good as Green Giant. As always your feedback is welcome...oh..and guys....This is not to be confused with JD's Special C Tex...that one was a couple weeks back...hehehe

Taste was very good. Also grew Mahlor Roth's Orange and Ludmilla's Yellow Giant that year and Casey's was the best of the three. Ami

Nolika, I'll send you some seed for Casey's as it is not to late to sow seeds over here. Ami

My first post on this forum even though I have been a member for a year now and have the honour of posting about my tomato. Yes, I am Jeff Casey who found this yellow PL from a Green Giant grow-out. I think it is the sweetest, juiciest (so much juice you will wonder why it does not explode) tastiest tomato. To boot, it stays pure yellow which is a characteristic I was looking for over the years. How long ago did you find this variety Jeff? Was it stable the following year? Thanks for posting.
