You do need to emasculate pepper blossoms Hawk if you want to create a hybrid. If not, you cannot count on a successful cross with any degree of certainty. It will more than likely self if you do not. I have fiddled around with crossing peppers but have not taken it any further than the initial cross pollination. Peppers are much easier to hybridize than tomatoes.

Hawk, those are some beautiful pepper plants... no wonder you like them.... I've never tried them. Is the fish pepper as hot as a jalapeno or hotter and does it have a good flavor?

Here is a picture of one of my previous Purple Cayenne plants... Oh Yea!!! A pic so nice, need it twice!!! Are my purples gona do this Hawk, fade from red to purple? or fade the other way Purple to Red? Im also hoping to find some oranges too out of the mix I started-
