1.236 per litre which is $4.68 per U.S. Gallon, $5.62 per (before metric) Canadian Gallon. And yes, prices are down here too from $1.329 a litre a week ago. I don't expect it to last long though. Gas prices always skyrocket for a long weekend and with the Canada Day/ Independence Day weekend coming up, this will be shortlived.

Very cheap compared to here, we were paying the equivalent of current US prices back in the 1990's. Currently £1.32 per litre, $7.97 per US gallon, at one place I saw, a little bit down on last week.

I read somewhere that one reason prices are going down is that speculators took a beating when the feds sold off a portion of the national strategic petroleum reserve.

It's called the "Bumpy Plateau". Up down, up down, up down then eventually up, up, up. Averaging anywhere from $3.30 to $3.60 here in W. TN.

I expect prices to skyrocket again tomorrow. After all, it's Canada Day July 1st and Fourth of July coming up. Couldn't possibly let Vacationers and Patriots who are travelling have a break at the pumps now could they?

$3.21 in Tucson, AZ. We usually have pretty low prices. But- from what I have heard we get less gas for the cost because of how the gas expands in the heat. Some have said that gas should be sold by the pound instead of by the gallon to offset this problem but I perceive that this would cause widespread riots in the U.S.!

Yes, I like to refuel when it is frosty weather for exactly this reason! I have seen cars in storage leaking fuel during a heatwave after being filled to the brim in cooler weather and then left.
