One out of five f1 plants from a cross between two f1s had a different shape from the others. This one seems to trend toward pear shape. The other four plants' fruit were oblate spheroids. If I grow the f2s can I expect further differentiation toward a full pear shape? Attachments:

this sweet quartz x sungold f2 was my first to ripen this year, 2012, a friend who shared it with me said it didn't taste like a tomato, it tasted like a fruit. i only planted six of these, and the notable thing is that they have far more flowers and fruit than any other tomatoes in the garden.

I like both SQ & Sungold. So which one does the F2 favor tastewise?

there was a great deal of diversity in flavor in f2 and also some in f1. i have been selecting for orange color and flavors more like sungold than sweet quartz. the orange color with clear skins is an odd looking combo, like wow.
