I am still looking for varieties that can survive the heat and humidity of a Miami summer. Most heat resistant varieties specify DRY conditions. That won't do here. Does anyone have any ideas?

There is an old variety of cherry tomato the locals here call the Everglades cherry (I live on the west coast of FL at the same latitude.) In general the cherries seem to tolerate the heat and humidity better. Biggest problem I have is black spot from rain splashing on the soil, and caterpillars. The Fruit and Spice Park in Redland might have some of the Everglades cherry seeds. www.fruitandspicepark.com 24801 SW 187 Ave. Redland. Good luck!

I have the Everglades Currant tomato. It is smaller than cherry. It does pretty good, but won't survive a Miami summer.
