apparently had winter residents. I just opened up the plastic tote where I keep my horticultural cloth for rowcovers and it seems that little cheeseloving furballs used them for birthing stations. I'll have to wash them and see if I can patch the holes. Do you think that duct tape would hold the heat or reflect it That particular tote had a broken corner....I forgot that town mice don't have as many warm places to sleep as the ones did on our farm. I'll be using a different tote when winter rolls around again.

I would recommend metal trash cans for storage. I've seen them chew through plastic totes myself. I store black oil sunflower seeds in a small metal trash can.

Yes, I have Tupperware with teeth marks when they wanted Oatmeal for Breakfast one morning....

Yuck.....we had mice in our shed over the winter too, they made a nest in the drawer of my husbands tool box
