I'm looking for a great OP corn. I have Toothache Plant, Exploding Cucumber and Achocha to trade if you like! If you don't have any to trade, please tell me what you suggest. I have limited space (Taken up by mostly awesome tomatoes!!!) but want to grow some great sweet corn that my family will remember and want to try again next year. Thanks! Jeff : )

Jeff, I dont have seeds but these are real good ones, Country Gentleman, and Golden Bantam. You need to get them to the pot fast because the sugars turn to starch very quickly in OP corn.

Golden Bantam must be a great OP, I've talked to old timers that have grown it for 50 or 60 years or more. It's stocked heavily everywhere when seed displays go up in stores, and it's the first seed to sell out. If you ever have trouble finding it (or it's sold out) it's always available here from American Seed Co., sold as the loss-leader brand to get people in the stores. Packs sell for 8cents to 12 cents, sometimes under other brands for a quarter, I'd be glad to grab a few for you next year, let me know.
