Can only agree, and as Darth, I have seeds but didn't sow them yet.

The picture I will attach shows the 2 least distinctive hearts from JD's Special Pink of all of them. I have another picture with several with very distinct heart shapes. And the angle I took the pictures at may not of helped. Jay i76.photobucket.com/albums/j40/elkwc36/100_0589.jpg

Hi Folks.... I'll be back in a bit but for now, below is a photo of two fruit off of the same plant of JD's Special C-Tex with the original mutated fruit to the right. It looks more orange/red than pink in the photo.

Jay, thats very interesting on the heart shaped fruit. JD's Special Pink has been a large pink, oblate shaped fruit for me. I didn't think I had a photo of the original mutated fruit still on the plant but I found one. This is the fruit that was just starting to blush and ultimately producted a single reddish pink fruit on JD's Special C-Tex. I'm currently looking through my stash of cd's for more photos.

Here is another photos of JD's Special Pink grown in the fall of 2007. The original mutated fruit was observed in the spring of 2006.

BV, Thanks for the pictures. I was thinking you had said large oblate pink when you sent me the seeds. I'm growing several from the seeds I saved. I feel certain I didn't mix the plants. I have used all of the seeds you sent but will be growing from what I saved. These were very good. The biggest was over 11 ounces. Most were in the 6-8 ounce range with a few smaller. And I only grew one other heart last year and it has wispy foliage and this one didn't. And it was started in another tray. Will see if it is stable this year. Have a few plants of it growing now. Jay
