Ooooo, Darth, You've got those little batwing gourds...How cool are they?! Those small squash are all from this planting from a carnival squash I bought at the store, I got 7or 8 diff segregates out of it!! The striped acorn, the orange and green acorn, a delicata looking one a very ugly plain green one, a very bumpy orange, and all orange acorn, a white acorn and a striped orange!! This would be F2, so I am assuming some of these can be stablized. I can send you some F2, they are alot of fun, but they are not gourds. And, they are very tasty!! If I showed a pic of the orange and green one on its side you would see it has the acorn squash shape.

Take a look at the batwing pumpkins at the Long Island Seed Project. That's what I thought they were.

Darth,
These are absolutely gorgeous squashes! Are there any OPs there? What are their names?
I love growing winter squash. Unfortunately I am limited to 1 variety of each type per year, as I cannot isolate them properly, so I can save seeds from them.

Tatiana The small ones are F2s from a carnival squash I bought at the store, it threw 8 different segragetes, and i am sure delicata was a parent somewhere. The rest are ops, and I planted so they wouldnt cross, I will send you seeds!!

Man, I love winter squash too. I just don't have much room for it, I'm afraid. But I do have some lawn available for tearing up....
This is sort of OT, but I'm actually still getting some summer squash, which is unheard of for me. I usually pull them in mid-August due to disease, etc.
