Check out the breeders section, you will be blown away!! What? I spent two hours looking through 18 pages of tomato pics last night and almost had a heart attack, and now you want to subject me to more? Okay, I'll do it but I'm gonna' need a Spock mind-meld afterwards.

Well, there seems to be some debate as to whether or not this cross took, so it should have more of a red tint?...It seems like it does have a little.... Blane, You may have to grow a parent or two with the cross just to compare, I dunno just a thought

There is little chance that the cross took based on the lack of dominant phenotypic traits expressing in those fruit pics. At least for the one seed that produced this plant blane is growing. Maybe some of the other saved seed outcrossed successfully with the pollen from yellow sub. This is one of the reasons that ideally one would use the PL parent as the female so that you would know right away at the true leaf stage if the cross took successfully by observing RL foliage in the F1 seedlings.

Yellow sub is Pl black plum is rl, the shapes look different but you could be right as I think Norm mixed a regular blk plum into the seeds.

Regardless....I will add this much.... My oldest boy Sean came home tonight to visit...brought his friend with him. I gave each of them one of these fruits.... You should have seen the look on their Faces!!! "Sean"...."Dad"....This is the best tasting Tomato you have ever grown"!!! His friend said the same thing...."Mr. Blane.....you have to grow more of these" I dont know if it was the fact that they had an outstanding little variety in the middle of Winter? Or these little bombs are that intense! Cross or no cross.....These are a keeper! Now...Keep in mind, that I did make a cross with these. BP X YS X Sweet Beverley....so this isnt over just yet.... too be cont...

Well keep in mind that its already been determined that it is most likely only the black plum parent. So your cross if it takes will only be BP x SB. Is the fruit you cross pollinated maturing?

Yep, and Im guessing in about another week, I will get the seeds from these for a summer F1 growout....
