A little follow up = if you upload your database to google docs, you can do the resort by column without moving the columns around, by selecting the column at the very top and right clicking on it = one of the options is sort sheet A-Z, and it does it based on the column you have selected. This means you can do a sort based on size, color, leaf, or what ever column you have selected, without having to move the columns around. If you want to do the same thing in excel or open office, you have to re-organize the columns first, and sort by the first column. Most spreadsheets and data bases will do this without rearranging the columns. For Excel select a column, then click Data and then Sort and you will get a dialog box to complete your sort. There are free DBs and SSs available @ www.openoffice.org . You don't need google, you can keep it on your own computer, or not. Tom
