Hello to all,
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Judi and I have been growing tomatoes most of my adult life but am new to heirlooms. I live in SE Nebraska. The soil here cannot compare to my idyllic memories of black earth in central Iowa, but overall, it isn't bad. We can feel spring on the way this week, but it may be only a temporary thaw! Can't wait!

Nice to see a SE Nebraskan here. I too am a transplant from Central Iowa. This is my thirteenth year growing heirloom tomatoes. Over the past six years in Brownville there are getting to be lots of converts to "good" tomatoes. If I can be of any help, let me know and I am probably nearby enough to get with you.
Other Nebraskans get together every year in Lincoln for the Mid-West Tomato Fest to share tomatoes, seeds, stories and fun. You are certainly welcomed as a Nebraska Tomatophile. I hope we can get together sometime.

Thanks, Paul. I almost made it to the MW Tomato Fest last year. I will come this year for sure!
