Hi All,
I've been a member for several months now and thought I should introduce myself. I live in southcentral Indiana. I gardened heavily during the first "back to the land" movement of the 70s. Didn't have much time for it while working and raising two active boys. My boys are now men and my career is winding down so I'm back to growing.
Being from Indiana, tomatoes are always on the grow list. I'm also interested in peppers, beans, alliums of all types, and of course sweet corn. Husband is from Oklahoma so we also grow the obligatory okra and summer squash.
I have also taken up mushroom growing as a hobby and this year should yield some nice shiitake and maitake. We live on wooded property so morels and chanterelles are here for the picking. Also like to grow woodland plants such as ginseng and yellowroot. Added ramps to the mix last year to get some colonies started.
Anyway, I'm here because I'm fascinated by all of the tomato varieties and the breeding that is being done. I don't know how much I can add to that subject but I'm always willing to add my opinion, sometimes to my detriment. Lol

Cheers, Kevin Hi Kevin, I'm in Nashville (Brown County). We will be having the annual morel festival at the state park in another month or so. But I think I'll just stick to hunting in my backyard.
