If they do, then I can list mine. I have Pixwell, Poorman, Orus 8, Captivator, Invicta, Hoenigs Earliest and an unknown variety of gooseberries; Rovada, Red Lake, and White Pearl currants; Anjou and Clapp's Favorite pears. In apples, I have Smokehouse, Ashmead's Kernel, Sops-In-Wine, Giant Winesap, Orange Cox, Ditlow's Hard Winter, Gala, Jonathan, Fameuse Snow, Paradise, Summer Sweet, and Newtown Pippin. Most of those are grafted single branches on six trees, though. I have a Golden fig in-ground, and another Golden, Chicago, Brown Turkey, Panne Vino White and Panne Vino Dark figs in pots, with cuttings of Italian Honey, Nero Caesar, and a third variety that I can't recall at the moment, rooting in the basement. Then there's the Alden and Seyvalle Blanc grape arbor, and the Boizeau's St. Pepin x Alden hybrid cuttings, also rooting in the basement, and the nameless thornless blackberry bramble.
Okay, so I have a few fruit plantings, LOL!

we also have fruit trees and various berries. Mrs Camo takes care of them, except for pruning the fruit trees which is still my job. We have golden delicious, red delicious, granny smith, and liberty apples. Anjou, Bosc, Bartlett and Seckle pears. a sour cherry is the soul surviver of the cherry trees as all four of our sweet cherries have died over the past years. Still have a few peach trees left but most of them are gone now too. She has plenty of blueberries, blackberries, gooseberries, strawberries and I think it's two elderberries. We also planted two mulberries back in '82 that thanks to the birds have become at least a hundred now. In the heat of summer they drop their berries, as not even the birds can eat that many mulberries and the entire place smells like a winery for a couple weeks. Camo

Camo, what variety of gooseberries do you have, do you know? I'm always looking for "new" named varieties.

One thing I won't do is wake her! I'll try to remember to ask in the morning. I do know that she bought them at Dana's just outside Littlestown. (of Dana's Dusky Rose fame). Camo

Camo, what variety of gooseberries do you have, do you know? I'm always looking for "new" named varieties. I finally remembered to ask, and was told they died two years ago, I guess I should pay more attention. She then said she isn't too sure that the elderberries aren't going to be joining them as someone used the snowblower to bury them under about 6 ft of snow. I think that was her way of saying I really should pay more attention! Sorry! but I will keep my eyes open for you as I hit the different nursuries in the next few months. I always carry a pad and pen for taking notes, I'm not into the electronical age yet. Camo

That's okay, Camo, and I'm sorry to hear that they died off for your wife. Ask her if she would want a new one? I might have an extra Poorman or two next fall.

Redbrick, Thanks for the offer, we'll see what the future brings. (I'm gonna hold off mentioning anything for now, as I'm really not sure how those gooseberries met their end. I've been known to take out a few blueberries, and even a willow tree with a mower. Even had a mower take off on it's own once and run down a whole row of blueberries while I ran in the house for a minute). Camo

The nameless thornless blackberry bramble you speak of grow like dang weeds here. rich, dig a few, if they're truly thornless and good tasting, I'll pay shipping. I was going to send you and jt elderberries last year, but a late, hard freeze killed all the young volunteers. Camo, the 6 feet of snow may just have saved your elderberries, encased in snow, they were insulated against the worst of the freezing low temps.

Elderberries will root very easy, all ya gotta do it look at em. left all my unrooted sticks out all winter in 1gl pots and had 100% take, two were left in the pots this winter and they are yelling at me to find a place for them. just my thoughts.
