You know what's funny Dude, a lot of the urban revival work I have done is revitalizing areas of larger sprawl towns that have strips that look just like what you are showing there. We go in and try and make it look and function like a small town, just like they once were.

I have never had a problem arriving in the Beemer, once I get into the bacon superstore, they all love me. I start waving my hands at the bacon and sausage case and all if fine.

Ciao Rich-
Wow, it looks so sleepy. You never see 1 or 2 cars in a huge parking lot here. Lots more flags for a tiny town like that. I did know Piggly Wiggly was a grocery store from Steel Magnolias and Driving Miss Daisy. Also, we don't have war memorials in small towns so much up here either. The big one is in Ottawa and there's a monument to General Brock (who fought the spooty Americans in the war of 1812 when the Canadians burned down the White House) in Niagara.
I could take photos of our Italian neighbourhood..just as soon as it thaws a bit. I'm not overly keen to get out there with my camera at the moment.

Ahem, it was not the Americans who were spooty, it was the British who invaded the US, they were the spooty losers.
