Hello- on 2 out of about 20 plants that were planted out a couple weeks ago the newest foliage is just "disintegrating". See attached picture. Can anyone tell me what this might be? should I get rid of these plants in case it is contagious? or should I leave them alone and see if they cure themselves? I should mention that this is the first time that vegetables of any kind were ever planted in this 'virgin' plot. I do have more pictures. Thanks for your help! Attachments:

Hi Matt. Its very hard to tell from those pictures. They are very small and do not provide much detail. Do you have others you can post that are larger with better resolution?

hello- thanks JCM. I am not trying to be funny here- but when I click on the pictures (within the body of my post) they take up almost the full screen and the clarity is pretty good. I have more pictures too. I wonder if i did something wrong, chose some incorrect option that i didn't notice while attaching to the post (?). Like some kind of compression tool or something(?).

No problem. Thats possible. I don't usually use the attachment option as mine are hosted. I believe the software limits the size of the photos you can attach. The pictures you have attached are 320x240 pixels in size. Very small.

If it looks like it has been eaten then the chances are you'll figure it out. If you go outside at night with a flashlight you'll find it. It could be a cutworm, could be a tomato hornworm, or it could be a cabbage looper.
If the top is disfigured/discolored or wilted it could be something else.

Thanks. I will take new pic with different camera settings. this started out as curling then discoloration then leaves gone. Only on a few branches. the rest of the plant looks healthy and all my other plants look nice and healthy.

I agree, indeed looks like herbicide or CMV, both would show very similar appearance of the leafs.
