Hello everybody! I'm OB, I live in south Alabama and I love tomatoes ;D I also see quite a few familiar faces.
I've been gardening for several years, most of those organically and the *only* must have in every garden is tomatoes. Luckily I get to grow 2 crops down here. I've had a mixed bag of luck re: tomatoes over the years and some of that, I think, is the learning curve when I switched to organic growing. This year it'll be all heirloom toms with one hybrid in the mix. Can't wait to be able to get out in the garden.
Thanks DLD for putting the word out about this site. OB

Welcome OB. Organic is the way to go. Wish i could get two crops! It would make breeding go MUCH faster.

Thanks for the welcome, y'all! Finally was able to get out in the garden today and plant the Sophie's Choice toms...way later than I'd planned but this winter has been anything but 'normal' down here this year. Still they're in a couple of weeks ahead of the regular crop.
