I have grown the Cherrybelle radish and love them, but what are some others that you recommend and how do you store them?

They don't store very long. You would be much better off just growing many of them and harvest as you need them. I prefer the flavor of french breakfast myself. Ive also grown champion and cherry belle.

do you have to grow the Spanish Black through the winter?
i like the French Breakfast aand the D'Avignon cause of their length and that they sort of pop up above ground when they're ready.
i make a radish relish, posted under recipes here, every year. i have also frozen them and later used them in soups and stews and such.
you can also dehydrate them in very thin slices and use like chips.

That another good point about french breakfast.....the longer types are much easier to slice.

I like the French Breakfast f I grow them, they are not good from the store. I like the standard red radish, is that Cherry Belle? I also eat daikon, which is best pickled.
