Nolika, Thanks for sharing the tomato pics - nice variety and a great boost during this dreary winter.

Thank you all for the comments on the pics, I really love taking photos in the summer, that is my favorite hobby next to eating the produce from my garden I just can't wait for the tomatoes this year. It will be a long wait... Nilika, I also do a lot of photography and will be posting as my garden grows. The basket full of tomatoes is a very good photo. Colors are clear, accurate, and balanced. I'm curious which camera, lens, and filter you used. Ted Ted, you must be kidding me ;D. I know it is a nice photo, but I don't have a professional camera. I shoot all my pics with my Canon PowerShot SX100 IS. It is really handy and makes great pics. No lenses or filters are added, it has a fixed lens...

Here is another one, this was probably the third harvest in my garden last year. I can name the varieties if anyone is interested...

Nolika, ;D, nope, not kidding; I use a Canon G9 which is nothing more than a point and shoot camerea with all the bells and whistles. I put everything on "auto" and keep on shooting. Canon makes good cameras.

They grow the same as reisetomate but taste slightly less acid. Just a darker version of the red. Ok, great! In that case I would love to get some seeds. So you are presuming it is a cross with Black from Tula? Is there no way it could be a mutation? That means I will have my work cut out for me if I want to select something worth growing. Well, maybe I'll just give it a shot. I'll send you a PM ;D

Ted, you're right, I'll never have another camera, Canon is the best, I'm always pleased with the photos, and it seems to take abuse just fine: dirt, mud, moisture (rain drops, mist), pollen and dust don't seem to bother this gadget ;D

Sorry, Darth, here's a little something to make it up to you. This is a sliced Rhoades Heirloom...
