Since it seems like we (you all) will have many grow-outs being performed this year, especially in F2 and beyond stages, I wonder if when each grow-out is posted, having a topic for each grow-out will make it easier for each one to be tracked over the season. Just an idea. For instance, I find JTCM's brown cherry interesting, if it had it's own thread it would be easier for me to find with search as the season and threads progress.

And when calling the name of the custom hybrid, please use the seed mother's name first and the pollen parent second. Example: Indian Stripe x Sun Gold.
Also, don't expect someone to automatically know what something like IS x SG means. It would be most helpful to give the full names at least once, followed by the initials in parentheses, at the beginning paragraph of your message. Example: In 2007, I made the cross of Indian Stripe x Sun Gold (IS x SG). Something like that.

As this is all essentially new to me and a good bit overwhelming at times I sure appreciate knowing some of the names, designations, and terms being used without guessing and without having to figure out many of the abbreviations that ya'll more experienced and expert breeders and growers use.
