I have cut and pasted below a quote from another tomato board where folks are discussing a Gary'O Sena off-type they are getting from seeds Tatiana sent out this year. No problem with Tatiana's accidentally crossed seeds. Fact is I wish I had gotten some!!! But my question is for the genetics pros ... are these statements correct? I'm assuming the person is talking about F2 results:
"Saved F1 seeds, now the F2, from fruits of an accidental cross can give you: cc X cc will always give you PL if two PL varieties cross. CC X CC will always give you RL if two CC varieties cross. Cc X Cc will give give you 3/4 PL and 1/4 RL CC X cc will give you all RL plants. CC X Cc will give you 1/2 RL and 1/2 PL."
Comments please.
I had a problem understanding: Cc x Cc gives 3/4 PL and 1/4 RL in the F2, and CC x cc will give you all RL plants in the F2.

I am not a biologist, but the way I understand it:
Cc x Cc gives 3/4 RL and 1/4 PL, not 3/4 PLs! CC x cc will give all RL plants in F1, but it will be both RL and PL in F2
Also, "CC X Cc will give you 1/2 RL and 1/2 PL" - I think this is not correct. It is cc X Cc that will give you 1/2 RL and 1/2 PL... I think CC x Cc will give you all RL plants in F1...
