Hej, everyone! I've read so much about this one and have seen many beautiful photos. I can only say I really like the looks of it and the potential it has as a new to me food crop. How many of you have grown it and what is your experience with them? I am mostly interested to hearing from growers in Europe but of course any info from anyone is very welcome. I was planning to grow it but was lacking the space but now I've made a new bed with good soil and I plan to grow some yacon there along with some other new to me veggies I got from some kind folks from the forum. Now the only problem is that I currently don't have any oca tubers ;D I was supposed to get some from a friend but she had a crop failure as some critter ate them all... I would really like to get my hands on some tubers if anyone has any. I can trade for them or pay for postage. If anyone is interested in a trade or has any tubers to spare, please let me know. I would be really grateful... Thanks for any info

nolika...we have a native or, more likely, naturalized oxalis here, I may be able to provide it, have not seen any so far this year. I don't know that it is the tuberosa, but, the leaves are very nice, tart and almost sweet. Get in touch, I'll see what I can do for you.

Thanks, peppereater, I'll PM you In the meanwhile, I did get my hands on some Oca tubers and now I just can't wait to grow them. The person who sent me the tubers also told me just about everything I need to know about growing them, but I would be very grateful for any additional info from personal experience
