I think everyone with a tomato and pepper addiction should have a greenhouse. ;D

Yeah, you could get a Weatherguard-type greenhouse like Bluey's greenhouse. That would probably be considered as a temporary structure but works very well. You can even remove it for the winter if you want. The city considers my GH to be a shed. We can put up a structure without permits and taxes as long as it < 100 square feet and not attached to the house.

Here is one of 2 showing heavy anthocyanin, these are H-34 bred by Keith Mueller. I planted 200 and only 2 are this dark.

Hey Jt, I have the Red Green Plans, for "building a greenhouse with duct tape and goods acquired from the neighbors yard".

Hey Jt, I have the Red Green Plans, for "building a greenhouse with duct tape and goods acquired from the neighbors yard". And some of us just might ask you for those plans Darth, so we can piss off our neighbours even more than we already do

Ciao bluelacedredhead- Oh how I know exactly what you mean. My neighbours to the right of left of us are "cottage people". The lady's ok, but her husband is real opinionated regarding what's appropriate for growing in front vs in back, a real traditionalist who thinks vegetables belong out of sight. He gave me great news a few days ago, saying he's going to be building a 10 ft fence between our yards, this year or next year, depending on funds. I couldn't be more delighted. If he built one along his driveway, I'd be even happier (and I bet he would be too..he hated the ornamental corn I grew out front in the bed along his driveway last year and I hate his big truck that he parks as close to the curb as possible so I can't work in the bed from that side).

Sorellina, I hope you get your fence. ;D I know the feeling of not being able to work on something in your yard because the neighbours are in your face or opposed to what you are doing.
I ripped out the Pachysandra under the porch window last year and grew 3 colours of broom corn there. It seems that tall ornamental grasses are acceptable around here, but I heard several comments about "WHAT is that?" I'm going to adopt the attitude this year that they are just Jealous that they don't have the nerve to show some individuality.
