That's interesting that the whole plant didn't have spotted fruit. Keep us posted on your results with the crosses. If you can breed a spotted tomato that would be quite a seller I would think.

Very cool, I like the spotted mutant. I find GZ to be a wierd duck. It seems to behave singularly in my garden in terms of plant health, and has a taste that folks either like .... or not. I've taken a pass on GZ as a parent in crosses, and used instead the WBF derivatives like Black and Brown Boar. These seem quite different, in a positive way.
