My oldest boy Sean, saved his money and got his dream guitar this week. A Schecter Hellraiser, floyd rose, and EMG pickups, solid mohogany, sounds excellent....hes starting to get smokin fast now, after just 2 years of playing.

Good deal! That Hellraiser is a looker. How's the action? If you breathe on them, do the strings touch the frets? Stay in tune with the wiggly bar?
How old is Sean?

:DSean is almost 18....next month. No, the action needed a little tweaking, but doesnt every new factory ax? By the time he gets it set up right... I will be able to "Eye-Ball It" and hear a sound LOL! ;D

It wasnt a Gibson.....did I miss something?..... Whats wrong with Gibson...(save that thought) And yes, some Axes do need tweaking from brand new. Just MHO. Sean likes it as close as he can have it. If I want to work at "pressing down the strings" Ide buy some cheap ol Walmart guitar. I cant stand Bad action, thats all. Every brand is different, I understand.... Point being, my Kid loves this Ax, and wanted to share with folks, and maybe one day get to Jam with some Pros.
