Hi, I live in Burbank, CA, and I love tomatoes! As I was growing up (in Oregon), my mom gardened, and we had lots of fresh fruits and veggies. I tried to carry on the tradition with potted plants and tomatoes, but without much success. A few years ago, we moved to a house where I can have a garden. Can we say, YAHOO!!! This year I planted Sweet 100s, Romas and Beefstake from seeds. Last year, I planted San Marzano, but couldn't tell the difference between them and the Romas. This year, I started them in pots -- outside. Figured why not? Dumb -- they're still small. Last year I had all these cute little tomato seedlings in my kitchen, getting in the way ... and I didn't want the mess inside this year. Need I say that I'll be starting the seeds inside next year? Oh, and I'm pretty much into organic gardening, as much as possible. And I found out about this site from another gardening site: the link was in someone's signature on IDigMyGarden. I also joined the FB page.
