Hey, these are the results of listening to guys like Keith Muller,Dar Jones,Bill Malin and Bill Jeffers all members here at TTG!! I followed their advice, I got a hold of as many O.S.U seeds as I could. And planted them all, and only kept the ones showing Anthocyanin in the earliest stages of growth, the rest were culled. Anything with plain green stems were uncerimoniuosly...Trashed. The reason alot of stuff is not realeased to people is they dont choose..or know what to look for in genetic expression, these are probably not the best examples of this plant, but it is what I have to work with. They are not even close to ripe and are showing alot of Anthocyanin. Notice the purple even on the stems. Notice the parts covered by the leaves, I trimmed these after this shot to expose more of the tomato to the sun. Out of 90 plants I only kept 10.

Cool. I guess a lot of people got seeds for these. I didn't, so it's fun when those who do have them growing post pics and discuss the process.

Not to worry,I didn't sign anything saying I would not distribute them, but you must only keep the purple ones and promise me you will cull the rest, and I will send you some of these. Darth

I have to cull plants? I had such a difficult time culling baby chicks, but I knew it had to be done. I suppose I could learn to get rid of the sickly green plants and only grow out the blushing blue ones... Thanks Darth. If you've got a few seeds to spare when the time comes, I'd love to have some O.S.U. Blue.

Speaking of colour, there were pics on Facebook this morning of O.S.U. Blue that were extremely blue. I realize that they were in a little warmer area of the country than in MI or CT. But the other difference that struck me between these maters and those was the shape. K.C.'s were appeared to be oxheart shaped, yet Darth's look round? Camera angle? Ewwww, I just had a disgusting thought. O.S.U. Blue Canner tomatoes...like mousemeat in a jar.

Cameras and water don't mix (usually). We have a 35mm that flashes sometimes and sometimes not after we took it on a weekend camping trip in the rain. The pictures can wait until better weather. TY.
