Found a bunch of these on my Ohio Cutshort bean plants. The plants look terrible. Mostly disease, but I'm wondering if these have something to do with it.

Break out the Spinosad,Mexican Bean Beetle it is!!! They are bright almose neon yellow up here though.

I wonder if Mexican bean beetle's have the same reaction to Hot Pepper spray as Colorado Potato Beetles? If you spray them with Hot Pepper Spray just after they hatch before their shell turns hard and impenetrable, it burns them. They scream and shrivel up, just like the Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz...

Well, I sprayed them all with Pyrethrin and they're dead.
