Well folks I have 4 Atlantic Giants growing right now. Each on a separate vine. One is I would say between softball and soccer ball size. A fifth one attempted to set but it looks like it will abort. Not to mention it is tiny. My Howden is still doing very well. The first one to set is fast approaching soccer ball ball size and has a nice long stem. My pie pumpkins are sending out vines now and look very healthy. Kabocha are still doing excellent.
Sugar Baby Watermelons are doing awesome!!! I have several that look to be in the three pound range and others that are about two pounds with some that are still fairly new. All told I count the big ones at 7. Should be some good eating when they are ready.
Cucumbers are also doing awesome. First wave was 12 but the next wave of cukes is going to be 18 counting the one I picked today.
I do have Amish Cantaloupe but not much going on there. Got a real late start and they are just now sending out vines.

Bad news folks. 2 of my 4 giants ended up rotting.Checked my biggest one and it is still nice and solid. Had a bit of a surprise while picking maters and noticed hidden between my Kabocha and Howden a nice green Howden that went unnoticed. About as big as the first one which is now fully ripe.So at least I have two Jack O Lanterns and maybe two Giants. Kabocha are all ready cept for a couple late ones.

How do you know when the Kabochas are ready?
