Howdy all. Nice to see some familiar faces around here. For those that don't know me, I've been growing maters for only 10 or so years now. I've got a small sub-urban garden in NC that I use for mater, cukes, zukes, melons, and other misc. veggies. I'm also the co-founder/organizer for Tomatopalooza[tm] which is an annual tomato tasting here in NC. Tomato season is pretty much over here in NC, so until Feb. it'll just be dreaming/planning what to grow next year!
Also, looking forward to talking crosses as I made my first successful one this year! The cross is named Brawny, and it is of Grizzly F4 x Cuostralee. (Grizzly F4 was a pink dwarf tomato.) I'm looking to basically make a dwarf version of Cuostralee which is my favorite tomato.

Hello Lee, you seem to have a handle on flavor, it would be interesting to hear what people like and what they disliked at the tasting events.

Hello old friend. Glad to see you made it here and welcome. Lots of crossing talk going on with many knowledgeable breeders, both experienced amateurs and professionals. Don't be afraid to chime in with your 2 cents and maybe get some pennies back !!! Nice shiny ones !!
I'm still growing, collecting and crossing the potato leaf varieties, though not to the extent as before. I've moved and don't have the space but for 5 20 gal pots at the new digs, down from 125 varieties and 399 plants. Ill PM you my new mail addy and phone number !! Lets keep in touch !! Say hello to Craig for me. Best regards, Bill Malin (aka Spudleaf Willie.)
